Erté is an exciting young dog with a sweet, friendly, outgoing disposition and an enthusiasm and aptitude for learning. He is a quick study with an impressive pedigree of successful Champions and Performance Title holders behind him, we hope he will continue in their footsteps. He is also the most amazing cuddle bug who loves to give and receive hugs, he’s an all around happy guy.

In very limited showing, mainly just Specialty Shows and despite the COVID-19 shut-down of dog shows for several months, Erté completed his Champion Title at two years of age from the Bred By Exhibitor classes.

In 2019, at his first show, Erté thrilled us by going Reserve Winners Dog from the 9-12 Puppy Class, out of 38 class dogs, at the Western Reserve Dalmatian Club Specialty attached to the Dalmatian Club of America National Specialty. He went on to place 3rd in his Puppy Class at the National, then 1st in his Puppy Class again at the second Western Reserve Specialty. He  won his Puppy Class at the Dalmatian Club of Detroit Specialty that summer, then closed out the year by going Winners Dog & Best of Winners from the Bred By Exhibitor Class in December at the Mid-Florida Dalmatian Club Specialty for a Major, followed by Winners Dog at the AKC Royal Canin National Championship Dog Show.

In early 2020, he was entered just one day at an All Breed Show where he went Winners Dog and on to Reserve Best in Show Owner Handled right before COVID-19 forced the closure of dog shows for most of the rest of the year. Finally, when dog shows cautiously resumed in late 2020, Erté quickly completed his AKC Champion Title from the Bred By Exhibitor classes building his own 4-point Major going BOW and BOS over several Top Specials!

He went on to complete his AKC Grand Champion Title owner-handled and is busy enjoying learning new things, training for the performance ring, exploring new places, and meeting new people everyday. Erté is training for Obedience, Rally, and Agility. Making everyone smile and giving the sweetest hugs continue to be among his favorite activities. Everyday is a new adventure!  

Erté holds the following Performance Titles: AKC Rally Novice (RN), Rally Intermediate (RI),  Rally Advanced (RA), AKC Agility Novice Standard (NA), Agility Novice Jumper (NAJ), Agility Novice Fast (NF), Agility Open Fast (OF), Agility Excellent Fast (XF), Barn Hunt Instinct (RATI), Barn Hunt Novice (RATN), Barn Hunt Open (RATO), AKC STAR Puppy, Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA), Urban Canine Good Citizen (CGCU), AKC Trick Dog Novice (TKN), Trick Dog Intermediate (TKI), Trick Dog Advanced (TKA), Fetch Dog Novice (FTN), and Fetch Dog Intermediate (FTI). USDAA Agility Starters Jumpers (SJ) and Starters Gamblers (SG).
